 Time to merge Paladins and Warriors?

So barbarians and fighters at one stage were merged into a warrior. Now that there is zero purpose to a warrior (they do the worst damage in game, they tank less than a paladin, their AMP is capped, they are now worse at hunting than DWs and they have to rely on a timer cooldown if they lose their almus) perhaps its time to just merge them with Paladins who at least can tank and do better damage due to the 2 handed weaps?

Many of the fighters were originally barbarians and the paladin class is far closer to what theat class used to be : tank and used 2 handed weaps without relying on a cooldown.

I guess by your thought process we should Also merge wizards and warlocks since warlocks are 1/10th as powerful as a wizard as and there is no reason to be lock over a wiz.

According to you the game will be 2 classes:

Melee.
Mage.

no because warlocks still have unique elements: poison, tabes, reditus. They are also strong enough to compete in pvp and pve against most classes.

Warriors currently have no unique elements and are bottom of the table for pvp and pve. Im not sure how they became worse at PVE than DWs but guess it has to do with how strong magic is for DWs armor and multi

This is a bad idea, just limit paladins rage and increase warriors ferious.

Create differences between the classes.

Paladins low AMP. High physical protection. Do this by capping amp really low and allowing them to continue to take the beating they can. This doesn't make too much sense. Paladins should be more protected from magic due to their divination.

Warriors HIGH amp, low physical protection. Do this by not giving them tueri buff. Increase their magical protection. Doesn't make too much sense honestly.. Warriors should take more of a beating.

Rangers very high RANGE damage, VERY low surviving ability. This would come from skill. Avoiding hits and planning your strikes.

Darkwars VERY high lethality, incredibly low surviving ability. This would make them a gank class. An assassin at sorts. Don't allow them to wear plate armors. Leather armors for quickness.


When it comes to melee type damage. This will have to be adjusted accordingly instead of a buff all sort of update. Like i continue to say.. lets wait until the pvp reduction update comes out and adjust from there afterwards.

pally / warrior need something to spit them apart,

make one more tank vs mage or somthing

Ej already nerfed paladin HP so that warriors have the most hp in game. If you are still bad on warrior, thats on you. Try putting more than 19 cons and more than 30 str instead of 101 agility.

warriros hardly have any more hp than a paladin and with the mage rings usually less hp than mages!

they also have the worst protection spells and the weakest multi!

Basically EVERYONE except our resident troll knows they currently belong in the trash can. Which is why it would be better to merge them with Paladins or even Rangers? Change it to a Thief class that can go bow or weapon focused on Lethal. Current warrior is just about the right squishyness to be a ganking class
