 Being melee in 2.0

Spin needs some love, lvl 18 paladin takes 17 spins to kill a minotaur.
Mages takes 2-3spells (same lvl)

Other then that the game looks and feels great. awesome job

Update:
Just hit 19, equipped new weapon (staff) things are going a lot smoother.
Doing orc camp in cons, nice with found items getting some gold in. (The respawn is really low tho can't sustain 1 person)

Update 2:
Just hit 23, new weapon (2h axe) finally got fast spin so it makes it smoother.
Still takes a lot of spins to kill stuff (East) the damage ain't enough on spin to steal back any hp at all.

Update 3:
Just hit 27, there ain't enough mobs to make decent xp/h. It's either not enough mobs or they're spread too much.
Damage wise seem to improve a bit.

Just hit 28, hp steal is still a big issue. I dunno if it's because of the low damage on spin or hp steal itself.

Just hit 29, things are dying pretty quickly now. Hp steal remains an issue tho.


Monster respawn is pretty slow, clear entire area wait 30sec-1min

update

Just hit 31 tried switching hunting area to monsters my level.
Not doable, takes 10-12spins to kill the monsters which means no hp steal.
you die from 1 monster before you kill it.

Update:
level 32, nothings changed still gotta hunt monsters way under my level to survive.


Just hit 33, nothings changed. Best place to be is the same as when i was lvl 25.
And that place barely gives any exp.


Hit 34, still the same. Can't swap place damage is too low to steal back any hp :/


Just hit 35, new weapon. Still takes 7-8 spins to kill stuff.
HP steal doesn't work OR is way off


hit 37, got new weapon again. damage is ok not great but ok.
HP steal remains an issue (16%)


hit 38-42, things are going a bit smoother. Noticeable hp steal now


42-44, Damage is getting better and hp steal. (ONLY AGAINST MELEE MOBS) you don't steal sh*t or barely do damage to mage mobs (same level)

44-47, same hunting place nothings changed.

this has to do with that melees are setup the same way they are in 1.0
where they have been his with conscutive nerfs over and over
aswell as the diminishin returns(altho that comes intoplay later 40-50+ when u can reach 70+str

Well at one point melees were 2 spinning THE GAME with 100 str.

He hasnt nerfed them over and over.

Just that diminishing str returns update.

It was a necessary change for PVP but hurt PVE.

He would have to figure out how to give it a 10% boost for PVP (As it's not bad for pvp) and like a 300% boost in pve.

On lv 70 Thor in x1, I can 1 spirit run a death knight, 2melee hit it, but it takes 3-4 spins.

On my 27 paladin in 2.0, Its felt worse due to low lvl stats, weapon damage.

If there's a monster I can kill in 1-2 spirit runs or melee hits, it takes sometimes 8 spins to kill.

And we have told him about spin dmg a few times on discord and he agreed to look into it.

Even said he will make ferocious hit apply to spin, which it doesn't currently.

no they wernt 2 spinning the entire game..

i was killin level 70 101 str barbarians, on my cleric back than....

the best pvpers back than still had 61 71 builds for pvp


the 101 str build just gave less geared melees a way to fight

Yes they were. And melees were 2 melee hitting the game as well.

Anyone can remember that without an agenda to make melee damage overpowered. We want it balanced not over or underpowered.

EJ just updated and gave melees a SLIGHT buff to spin as well. Its better but still not where it probably should be.
