 Equip Level 65 Gear Level Discussion Xen 1.0 Server

Listing Equip Level 65 Gear that could be tweaked. Some should be lower, like level 60 equip and some should be higher, like levle 70 equip.

Start naming them and what equip level you think they should be and I will update this list so hopefully ej can use these ideas.

trying to base these off their current item level and equip values so it wont be a perfect suggestion for levels of course but a general idea. Also hard to take account all the stray items that are not grouped into a set group like diabolic, dirus, etc.

This SHOULD also make Chest pulls better as some of this stuff would be lowered to a lower tier chest (like 50,55,60 chest pulls instead of all 65 spirit chest or 70 chest)


Demonic Items = Equip level 50-55 (Helm could be 55 since its higher item level along with Demonic Chain)

ALL Diabolic = Make it Level 61-63 Equip.

Omni Items = Make it equip level 55-59.

Omni Plate = Equip Level 61


Triton = Equip level 60-62. (Shield needs 5% amp) Most unused shield in game cuz no amp)

Shroud Items = Equip Level 59-61

Bow of Lethal Speed = Equip Level 61

Death Knight Items = Equip level 64

Moon Robe = Equip Level 64

Super Moon Robe = Equip Level 66.

Dirus Items = Equip Level 65-67

Draconic = Equip Level 67-68

Vexar Items = Equip Level 68-69

Adept Wand / VoV/VoS = Equip Level 69

Oblivion Items = Equip Level 70

Arachnid Items = Equip Level 63.

Cron Items = Equip Level 64-65

Fragor Items = Equip level 62

i really think this achieves very little as so few players are level 60-69 anyway. Almost everyone is already level 70

Far more useful would be to FINALLY squish all level 70 gear so the gap between ac or dmg is no more than 100 points regardless of the item: dirus sword 900 dmg, rune sword 920, Drac sword 930, drac sword 940, sup draconic 950, vex hammer 970 etc Then look at the built im props to make each item useful in a different way

lets keep this on topic of what we talked about with ej on discord. if you have new ideas then make your own post in it. mods pls keep on topic so ej can look at it before it gets trolled to death by the same ppl.

This is about changing the nonused lvl 65+ gear to lower levels so they are used.

id prefer a Skill based system

say 2 handers the more you fight with 2 handed weapons the higher your 2h weapon expertise becomes and the stronger 2 handers you can use

and same for Cloth, Light armor, heavy armor etc

but the suggestion of squeezing gear and working on the built ins would make these items relevant and used whilst also fixing the issue of balance for pvp. For example a weapon triton sword could have 880 dmg vs 950 for a sup drac sword but if it had 5 amp built in it may be worth using

I will start them from scratch.. just easier for me

Magic gear should be 1-6

Fire gear should be 6-12

Elemental set- 12-18

Mystic 18-26

Spirit 26-34

Omni 34-42

Demonic 42-48

Diabolic 48-54

Dirus 54-60

Draconic 60-64

Vexar 65-69

Oblivion 70

I think after a certain point the gear should become something like "ascended". Something like Ascended Oblivion.. this means that they are just SLIGHTLY better than the next.

This means for ALL tiers.. Kinda like a upgrade to that piece.. Maybe through crafting.

I also agree with Scar. The tier of these items shouldn't be SO different. It should be like slight adjustments between one tier and the next.
