 Question about magic bonus/resist/cast speed
Author Message
Has anyone tested these, extensively, as of late?

I'm curious if 1 or 2 points actually improves character effectiveness. If memory serves me it use to be every 5 points made a difference... I think?

Examples
If you have 13 cast speed... do you need to get to 15 to make a difference?
If you have 78% magic bonus, do you have to get to 80% to make a difference?
If you have 36% magic resist, do you have to get to 40% to make a difference?

Thanks all!

I have been wondering some of that my self. I do notice a boost in graphical cast speed per every 5%. Haven't done any extensive research on this how ever.

Yes everything runs on 5%'s as far as we know. so 15% cast would be much different then 13% and the same for the rest of your questions.

Thanks for chiming in, guys!

That's VERY interesting if that's the case. It will mean that for a given set of a gear, you can design a specific skill setup.

I dig!

Difference is every 5, every more of a difference every 10's.... Everything seems stronger with 10''s than 5's.... Example: 10% damage on a weapon is a lot better than just 5%; more than it should id say.

With adept spells & 25% cast speed I attack stupid fast, with 30% it's nuts, not sure if 40% is obtainable
