Guide to Hidden Props: Everything you need to know
Author Message
Hidden Props are a good way to add special "attributes" to your character. I will describe what each Hidden Prop is as well as how to get them and what they do.

1. What are the Hidden Props and What do they do?

a) Leeching - The leeching hidden prop is one of the best hidden props for hunting/ PVE. It does what it says...leeches... health and Magic Power back at your character when hunting/killing monsters.
The affect is random but it does give a nice amount back. Definitely try to get this hidden.

b) Chaotic - Chaotic is the most seeked, strongest hidden prop for PvP. It has a random chance to dispell 100% of the targets charges/ buffs. This is deadly because a player without armor buffs can be instantly killed. Chaotic hidden property can also Poison or Stupefy an enemy.

c) Doombringer - Doombringer aka Doom is a pretty good PvP hidden. It is essentially a reflecting damage attribute. It returns a portion of the attackers damage back to the attacker when they are attacking you.

d) Healthy - Healthy is a random chance for Full HP when you would have died. It also adds 1 health per level to the character. So if a level 70 has a healthy item, it will add 70 hp to your character.

e) Animus - Animus can randomly drain the MP from an opponent that you hit

f) Energized - Energized gives 1 mp base per level, and randomly fills your MP bar. So a level 70 with Energized will get 70 added magic points added to their MP bar.

2. How do I get a hidden prop item?

There are three ways to get a hidden prop

a) Trade for them / buy them from consignment

b) Ankh - An ankh is a special item dropped by the Mystic Mummy. The Mystic Mummy is a low level raid boss that is only reachable until level 31. In other words, as a newbie, make sure you do this raid until you get 2 ankhs and then save then in your storage. The max ankhs per character is 2. Ankhs are Non Drop, Non Trade.

The best items to use an Ankh on are, Vis Mederi Rings, +2 Sci Rings, and Oreseth Guard Rings, as these rings with GOOD props can be used at high levels as well.

c) Arachnid Eye - An Arachnid Eye is a special item dropped by the Arachnid Queen. This boss is a high level boss, usually done by level 65-70s. This boss drops decent Non Drop, Non Trade gear as well as a random chance for an Arachnid Eye. Arachnid Eyes ARE trade-able and sometimes players will sell them in consignment merchant for 25 platinum to about 30 platinum.

3. How do I use Ankh and Arachnid Eye to prop items?

a) Ankhs must be used via the Profession Menu. Add the item on the left side of the screen. Then add the Ankh on the left side of the screen as well. Then click create.

b) Arachnid Eyes must be used via the "Imbue Shrine" and requires you to also add the platinum required to imbue, "prop", the item. They are not a 100% chance to add the hidden prop.

What makes it different from animus then? Just that animus gives 1 mp base per level?

Energized gives 1 mp base per level, and randomly fills your MP bar.
Animus can drain the MP from an opponent that you hit, at least thats all I've seen it do.

Chance of successfully propping with Arc eye is based on number of props on the item as well. Also it would be nice to show "best propping techniques", if someone had that data.

Does anyone know if hidden props stack ?
For example I have leeching o hammer and leeching o helmet
Is that equivalent to leeching x^2 ?
Or leeching works twice has often ?

No they do NOT stack. They used to but it made the system extremely overpowered as most would stack 5-6x doom and do insane reflecting of damage.

So basically you want to get 1 of each hidden, which makes more sense.
