so anyone else gonna build a ryzen
Author Message
im very intressted in the new ryzen 1800x

will be intressting to see

anyone else planning on doing new builds with ryzen/vega/ 1080 ti

love the fact that the 1800x rivals intels 6900k for less then half the price of intells

but will be more intressting to see benchmarks done by none biased people

and to see what the cpu really goes for

but it looks very intressting considering AMD hmm colorful history

I was really considering it. My board is old compared to my other hardware.

Really tempting

Pretty pointless unless you're looking to use it to run powerful programs.

With just the 1080 I have I run every game out in the market at max still at 45-60 fps.

I actually use my computer to render unreal engine stuff (I program video games). That's why I'm looking to upgrade board and processor

well yes pretty pointless right now

but 5-6 years down the line with 4-8k, VR

the dual cards will help

but i also fiddle around with

3ds max, blender, video editing and other programs on my spare time

but yes from a purely gaming prospective having more then just 1080 right now would be pointless

this is proably what il be rolling with unless there are some major changes in the next month

might consider a custom water loop down the line

thats narrowmindedness speaking

sure it wont beat the 6950x but. thats a 1700dollar cpu vs a 499

but Performance per dollar Ryzen does seem to take the crown again

but we wont know anything definitive untill 1-2weeks after release
when they release some none biased benchmarks, tests
