I thought of an idea while at work to run a text based DnD game about Xenimus on the forums. There wont be much of the rolling and stuff DnD requires but I can definitely see and try after some time.

Alot of this will be based on Xenimus characters and stories through out the years of Xen. So you'll see some classic names and stuff on here.

You'll play your character based on its set backgrounds and behaviors.

I'll add more as I remember.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So here are the classes.
Cleric
Named: Ribbles "Bonk" Roondar
Race: Gnome
Gender: Male
Occupation: Adventurer
Appearance: Birthmark
High Ability: Wisdom-perceptive, spiritual, insightful
Low Ability: Dexterity-clumsy, fumbling
Talent: Great at solving puzzles
Mannerism: Frequently uses the wrong word
Interaction Trait: Ponderous
Values: Loyal to a benefactor, patron, or employer
Flaw or Secret: Foolhardy bravery
Divine Domain: Light Domain
Personality:
Keepsake: The finger bone of a saint
Secret: Even though you can work divine magic, you have never truly felt the presence of a divine essence within yourself.
Became a cleric because: Although I was always devout, it wasn't until I completed a pilgrimage that I knew my true calling
Background: Acolyte
Trait: I idolize a particular hero of my faith, and constantly refer to that person's deeds and example.
Ideal: Aspiration. I seek to prove myself worthy of my god's favor by matching my actions against his or her teachings. (Any)
Bond: Everything I do is for the common people.
Flaw: Once I pick a goal, I become obsessed with it to the detriment of everything else in my life.
Heraldic Sign: A phoenix in a ring of fire, an expression of an indomitable spirit
Instructor: Gladiator. Your instructor was a slave who fought for freedom in the arena, or one who willingly chose the gladiator's life to earn money and fame.
Signature Style: Sinister. You scowl and sneer while fighting, and you enjoy mocking your foes as you defeat them.
Became a fighter because: I squired for a knight who taught me how to fight, care for a steed, and conduct myself with honor. I decided to take up that path for myself.
Trait: I know a story relevant to almost every situation.
Ideal: Honesty. Art should reflect the soul; it should come from within and reveal who we really are. (Any)
Bond: I will do anything to prove myself superior to my hated rival.
Flaw: A scandal prevents me from ever going home again. That kind of trouble seems to follow me around.
Became a wizard because: I grew up listening to tales of great wizards and knew I wanted to follow their path. I strove to be accepted at an academy of magic and succeeded.
When people choose the class. I will start the story if they are down. :)
This will require a lot of patience because we wouldn't all be online ALL the time. Just post and wait
PS: I might actually move this to the "guilds" tab..just cause.
Admin Note: If you post outside of the story. Please use the "Spoiler" option so it doesn't crowd the thread. If not ill just delete it. Thanks.
Well for characters youd have to pick from the 3 i just posted up. Reason i did that is because those characters have history in the game. Deep ones.
You can be bonk if youd like
I'm in.
Quick question, though: Does it matter if I don't know who Holger Danske is represent their personality completely incorrectly?
Also are we using D&D abilities/spells, or Xenimus?
