 Windows 10 Fresh install help

Just downloaded fresh xen and xenupdate from xenimus.com
I installed both not on my C but on my D drive where I run all games from.

As soon as I run xenimus, it stops working.
I also tried using run as administrator. Not working.

What can I do?

Go to your Antivirus program(s) and add Xenimus into the exceptions or excluded/exclusions tab so it does not see it as a "threat" and block it.

I had Windows Defender, but it has never seen Xenimus as a threat. I even disabled Windows Defender in an attempt to start up Xenimus.

Now I disabled Windows Defender and downloaded AVG. But.. Still nothing.. As soon as I start xenimus I get the message that it stopped working.

Went into configuration screen, removed xenimus and downloaded again. First xen then the update. Installed Xen first using right click run as administrator and the same for the update.

I went into the menu of AVG and added Xenimus as exception. Then Try to run as administrator.. stopped working again.

Anything else?

Update several hours later. I tried updating my sound device even though I have a BRAND NEW laptop.
I downloaded some update...
Deinstalled xen and reinstalled in C drive in an final attempt...
Also installed as administrator.

Ran as administrator... crashed.... -.-

Also make sure you have all your drivers updated, and try just like plugging in a pair of headphones or something and running it because sometimes the audio is weird and will stop it from working for some people. Although it looks like audio is probably not the issue still worth a shot.

Ya I think Xen requires some sort of speakers to run. At least I remember having that issue a while back.

I have updated every driver possible, my laptop is brandnew, but still managed to update some things. But I've done that before asking EJ for help. Tried everything so far.
I have eternal speakers attached to my laptop, but for the sake of the attempt, unplugged them. Tried again, nothing. Plugged back in with different settings, nothing.

Tried installing both on C and on D (not at the same time) with both fresh installs.. nothing.

The response i've got: You may need to run the game in admin mode. Right click the Xenimus icon and see if you can find the option for that.

So.. i'm out of options I guess. I even tried compatabilty from windows 10 down till xp.. nothing. Tried both graphic cards on my laptop. Built in and extra..

did you try also downloading and running the xenimus update from the main site?

Not just the main installer but the recent update (game update) too?

Try shutting off your firewall then open the game.
Try shutting off your antivirus then open the game.
Try reinstalling your directx drivers.
Try reinstalling your graphics /graphics card drivers.

Download the most recent update (Game Update) Version 1.248

window 10 comes with a pre built scanner so delete avg from your PC

and fine your Geforce control panel and then click update

then try run xen

all I did

Have added Xenimus to exceptions on my firewall, antivirus, But have tried turning off both.
Have newly installed Directx drivers
Newly installed Graphic drivers.

I deleted AVG and got Windows defender back. Added Xen to the exceptions list and fully updated.

Found my Gefore control pannel, downloaded new firmware... Was REALLY hopefull then, but.. still the same sh*t.

Im beginning to give up on Xen. Nothing fricking works. How can it be this impossible for me to play.
