Is it intended for his poison clouds to stack? I've seen him stack up to 4-6x poison clouds!!!

Don't forget that mini boss 'Drack' located in the basement of what we now refer to as "old DD". Location 158, 1885.

This dude is like a level 55-ish mini boss, yet his poison cloud stacks so hard it can kill a level 70 within seconds if you didn't max/med.
