 HP bonus from cons should be reduced for mages

I believe the hp bonus received from cons stat should be reduced for mage classes only, most mages in-game now have more HP than melee's do simply because a mage can pump all cons&int(or wis for cler/druid), however a melee class cannot do this(atleast not for PvP) since a melee is required to have high agility(70+ now which imo is ridiculous) and strength, now toss cons into the mix and there really isn't much wiggle room for a melee to be able to pump any cons and still be able to compete with mages.

Adding any points into cons on a melee requires them to sacrifice points from agility or strength, and in order for a melee class to do any decent damage in PvP they are required to go 70+ agility. That does not leave enough stat points left over to be able to put points into cons&str.

I don't see why melee's should be walking around with stats being 71 agil 61 str just to compete with a mage that has 60+ cons and int, when the mage has 2-3k HP more than the melee because the melee can't afford to put a single stat point into cons.

This is true. I play a warlock currently in 7000 hp. He however stayed at 90%Firebonus and 80% shadow.

That’s a health increase of 5000 compared to what he had. Now he has the tank and the damage. It doesn’t make too much sense for a magic type to be remotely close to a melee users health since they have abilities/skills that can keep the enemy away.

Also if you man a human warrior and go all cons you’ll get a certain amount of HP. The same person can grab a human Wizard, get the same cons and have the same exact Hp. It doesn’t really make too much sense

mage class with all cons and no int hits like a wet noodle unless you have 4 vos/vov/super adept rings which 99% of game doesnt have so i dont see an issue there.

He already nerfed mages so if they have more cons than int they Lose damage.

No need to nerf already gimped cons class.

only reason that melees need THAT much agil to hit a mage is ONLY if theyre using a house because the +white potion + defense effect from houses are too much.

Lets tone that tone and see where it puts it.

I dont even pvp on my mage unless i pop a white potion.

here we see a good example of the imbalance between melee and mage classes


Melees need to go 3 stats now


Mages need 2

Melee needs Strength to hunt Atleast 60 or spin is far to weak

Melees need atleast 60+agil or they swing to slow for pvp they will need more to hit a PVP only melee(goes low str higher agility)

Melees need Cons aswell to get hp see the problem here they need 60 str and 60 agil now we have 10 points left

that can give you 30 cons but that isnt enough now you need atleast 45-50 cons



Mages

neeed Main stat and cons

Mainstat 60-70
cons rest




Melees gear doesnt have any hp base besides helm, armor or SUPER RARE vovs


Mage gear is STACKED with health adepts rings 8% super adepts 12% helms 12% staffs 12% Wands 8%






this is why you see mages with more hp than melees






MY suggestion Give strength 75% of the HP cons gives

than melees will need 2 stats and it will be more balanced

Everything in this post seems to be true, as now I am leveling a warrior and it seems that spin is sort of weak. (I don't have 60 str right now either so maybe thats it too)

I will say that your suggestion would very easily kill pvp. People are TOOOOOO tank right now with that 6-7-8k hp. If everyone had 6-8k hp, no one would die and people would find it dumb/pointless to pvp.

I think the cons buff should be lessened for certain classes, and str should be made a lot more useful.

I think putting wands back to before dagger balance(half stats) would balance nicely more hp fig types barely more hp casters.
