 JELOC, what about having a chosen few? IDEA

Just a idea, there seems to be alot of different arguments to having pk and anti pk servers.
If you read about the storyline of the game, Jeloc is somewhat prestigeous,isn't it?
The only difference between having jeloc and not having it is your character is stronger. If everyone has it then it really doesnt make that big of a difference. yes for lvling in certain areas it helps, but to balance that out the damage from monsters can be adjusted down a little.
Everybody can do jeloc, all you have to do is be a sissie until you hit 36 and then you get it.

So what if there was a chosen group of say 10-15 people who have jeloc? Create a hunting area in the jeloc shrine that gives decent exp, non jelocians can enter with their full align. this place shouldn't give the chosen few with jeloc any exp.
As for the chosen 15, who honestly should be people that are always on, would be the muscle behind raids. Give them the spell that gives everybody white pot and double egg, only for pve raids.
Should one of the following decide to pk and lose their alignment, a slot would be open for another person to enter the jeloc shrine itself.
if they are able to enter, they should be given a item to hold on to. This automatically appears in their inventory and comes from the person who lost their alignment.

As for the rest of us, we can choose to pk or not pk, everyone else is balanced out anyways with the same number of stat points. the only difference is that you cannot enter jeloc or velanthra. And for those who do not pk at all, give them a certain time frame that says if you do not pk for 50 days, you will not take dmg from players a certian level and up.
if they lose alignment it will go back to 0 and they will take dmg. same system as betrayal points.

You can already chose to pk. -ALL in 70% of server and 100% of ds is pk.

lol this is your reasoning in a nutshell

the world is covered by water for everyone thirsty.... sure but 96.5 percent is salt water essentially useless

only 3.5% remaining fresh water that can be used to quench your thirst


much the same way that 70% of the server is full pvp

but only 3-5% of it can actually be used to quench the pvp urge

I pked yeterday on Thor on -ALL. You can pk if you choose to instead of sitting in t1 all day crying its anti pk nerd.

I don't agree with the newly made accounts post. At least he's coming up with NEW ideas.

Lets deal with all of this then!

All that is fine Loki, i see what you mean but you have to agree that people are just terrified of losing their jeloc, thats why every single player has it. Hence why it should be more prestigeous to have it. if people didnt care about their jeloc they would actually pvp more and pk for that matter. you have obviously played throughout every change so you know its possible to acheive the same things wether its full pvp or not. So let me ask you this, if 70% is full pvp then why dont people pvp or pk? because they are afraid to lose jeloc, then they can't compete with the people who have it, right?
If you removed the opportuninty for everyone to have jeloc and only a certain number ( doesn't mean that others can't obtain it)
the only difference would be the stat points and damage.
It would all boil down to what gear you have if you are stronger than a player of equal level or not, right?
Jeloc doesn't serve a purpose other than for lvling and resistance of damage from monsters. player vs player it makes no difference if everyone has jeloc or not. It should have a purpose, thats what im trying to say. people like princess nesbianna should have it, they continueously help other players with all sorts of things, and never PK.
I guarentee you would see far more pvp and people actually doing more on the game than now.
if you never pk or pvp and you want jeloc, stay good for your 50 days (example) and dont take any damage from other players. thats your choice. then everyone is left with a option.

exactly PVP has died down so much not because people dont like it or dont wanna do it


its that JELOC plays such a INSANE part in a characters strength

that losing it would gimp your character insanily versus those that have jeloc

and yet there was no jeloc loss on pvp server and it died fast as most players knew would happen but willing to give it a try.



2-5 players at lvl 70 cap. Yeah People dont like it or want to do it. Even last pvp/double exp event proved that. Double exp event = 65players online. Full pvp started, 20-30 players. Nerds playing 16+hours a day just want to grief casuals or those with less gear as EVERYONE has stated on the past posts. Get over it man.

once again level capping the pvp server is what killed it

and you know it thats is why you, rip and xen101 were pushing for it to be level capped so much



80% of the players Quit at level 40 because they simply got bored waiting 3 weeks for the level increase

some came back when the increase happened but dissapeared again after 1day after hitting 45

not to return anymore


anyways no point in derailing this thread with your nonsense
