other than the fact of how damage pings after animation and the lock down for multy I have to agree with the above comment ...the holly drac helms have helped ALOT a holly vex would deffinantly make them more able to atleast farm the 70 areas much better there just is no end game for them atm

i just want to point out the increase of players starting new clerics or logging into old ones sense the thread was started.

clerics could use an update for sure,nowdays id say they are the worst mage class, useless pretty much all the way, good for almus and thats it

I've been saying Clerics needed a boost for years now.

Upping the resolution speed on their multi, and letting them move+cast would go a long way to bridging the gap between Clerics and the other caster classes.

Allowing them to use staff+shield would fix the uncompensated nerf to their wand+shield combo they got smoked by.

Making their fulgur spirit damage, and reworking Omni Shield to be more relevant in today's play would also be excellent.

Giving them more/ more common gear options at the mid-late (50-70) levels would go a long way. Ominex/diabolic/vexar staffs with spirit damage are needed. Caster platemail with spirit/amd/cast/asb would be awesome (think moon robe).

Rhubarb nailed it perfectly.
The wand +shield change (wands were nerfed in stars when made off hands) lowered them from an already bottom tiered mage class but they were decent before.

Obstare malus should hit ALL undead. or have a 50% chance to land on all undead or something to make this spell actually viable.

its sad the amount of people who dont know how to utilize what a cleric has


sure they could use help in Some areas

and sure i dont mind them getting boosted


but what will happen is people are gonna cry even more

when players like me that know how to use them properly

plays them....


already me on a cleric + 1 other team mate from my crew

cant even get people to fight vs us without them spamming bomb almuses even if they out number us by 3-4

Yeah its hard to fight 1 max geared char, much less 2. I see 0 people pvping on a cleric on x1, its every class but them and rangers TBH that PvP on X1...
