 Base hp and class balance

4%hp weapon (rune swd, vex)
3hp/2amp VM's - 12% each (3 = 36%, 4=48%)
12% hp base helm
5% hpbase armor
8% hp base fighter boots
5% dirus cape
---------------------------------
82%

Mages
12%hp base staff
12%hp base wand
3hp/2amp VM's - 12% each (3 = 36%, 4=48%)
12% hp base helm
5% hpbase armor
8% hp base fighter boots
5% dirus cape
----------------------------------
102%

just seeing same ring count using VM's as an example they are pretty even. However mages have an advantage with staff/wand

which means nothing when melees have daggers eating through all that hp anyway and melees can get 80% amp

Mages also get hp on gloves and bonus hp on hats.

VMs are great but they arnt the ring of choice for mages at high end. Maybe melee, only for the simple fact there are no high level melee rings with decent base hp.

because melees with 19 cons get 4.5k+ hp at lvl 70 while a mage NEEDS all that bonus hp propped stuff to even get 3k WITH some CONS stat added.

melees also get hp steal from main hand and dagger and some armors. Doesn't that counter some of mages ability to have higher base hp?

I see what you’re saying, for sure, but if you’re going to mention a “end game setup.” You cannot forget about VoVs Which provide 7-9% base hp.


Like you gave the mage a SUPER VOS but you didn’t give melees one Vov? I know a lot of melees with atleast 1 VoV.

reason is simple vovs really are not that good on warriors/paladins because they give no rage

they are fenominal on darkwars tho


but also the part that vovs dont have any AMP making them a less attractive option

but even so that would just put melees at 54% hp compared to mages 90%

im not counting 2 super vovs, 2 vovs because that type of fairy tale setup is never gonna happen any legit way

I think that the speeds you can reach with a VOV make it worth, but I see where you’re coming from. The numbers are still rediciously far apart but I just wanted to keep it consistent.

2 super vovs 2 vovs on a darkwar would be pretty funny. If only :(
