thats not the issue

the issue is the other towns arent viable


theres no crypt's in the graveyard for exp rewards etc besides T1

theres no newbie dungeons besides t1

theres no Instant entrence to DS close to the other towns for 1k-1.5k per miniboss kill besides t1


list goes on there just way to many benefits of using t1 over other towns



and this is what id like to have adressed


i personally have no issues walking to another town


but id prefer being spawned in a random town uppon character creation which is how xen used to be

He just wants to hide the character he creates when PvP server releases.......That is literally it.

When I first tried xenimus many years ago, you used to spawn in a random town....in the middle of nowhere....surrounded by a lot of emptiness/grass etc.....I uninstalled the game.....tried it again....spawn in different towns until I was in semel (didnt know it was semel then) but there were players there. I then liked the game knowing I wasnt alone in a random desolate area.

Now they ALL start in Semel the starter town and you see people from day 1 of logging into the game. No need to change that.

If you want to start in a new town, walk there and type -home.

you're trying to make ej change the game just for you? Literally, just type -home lol

t1 didnt become the nexus again untill he added the cons portal....

Keep your town stuff on the other post you've made. There isn't any issues with the way the town is set up now. You're the only one I've seen posting on it lately...Which happens to be when the PvP Server is releasing.

it will be most likely be like the 2.0 launch if the things i mentioned are not adressed


in a few weeks from now

when we will hear stuff like

bla bla bla this guy is going around harassing me in start zone

and i cant start anywhere else


now do not tell me i did not mention the issue

Honestly, I see what LiftingNerd is saying. When xen 2.0 came out, because the size of the game, it took a very long time to level just because there was 200 people in one spot. I think it would be sick if you could go into another town and level on your own with your own squad and then come out of nowhere and just see how strong you are compared to other people.

The only thing is that what the hell is the point of a pvp server if you're going to hide and just wait until you're comfortable enough to come out. The point of it is to have danger at all times.

But I think he makes a good point... the more leveling spots, the better.

yea this wasnt a issue before diminishing return on EXP

problem is people will be pigeonholed into the same location because the others dont give exp at all in comparison

i mean if u can get 300k/h hunting a spot compared to earning 10-15k per hour

I catch your drift for sure, but I still don't see it as a massive issue. My reasoning is the optimal spots for EXP is going to attract heavy amounts of PKing. This should mean other previously less optimal spots will actually in result become more optimal, and give a better exp/hour, or at least less risk for easier/safer experience.

Isn't this what should naturally happen? Risk/reward, risk going for more optimal hunting grounds, reward being better results (if it works out of course). Also we can expect high levels to dominate hunting grounds for their friends to level at, and this should bring "good" players hunting the guys protecting their friends, etc. Just all seems natural to me in a fully open PVP/PK situation. In-game, there will be politics, there will be drama, there will be fights. I see that as a good thing.

yea only problem is that atm we have good spots for beginning like

Crypt in t1 where u get the 3k exp reward about every 30sec-1min

and at those lowlevels Those exp rewards are about 70-80% of the total exp u make per hour


at higher levels this change yes to the point where quests are not even worth doing




and i definently agree with most of what you said shabam


but clustering everyone in the same starting town will have some real issues

the town itself simply cant support the amount of players that will be there
