Maybe we can just make shields tankier. Possibly higher block chance. Let’s avoid decreasing and let’s try increasing in other departments

the problem is

melees hit to weak

but way to fast


slowdown melee hits bigtime

but also boost the damage per hit quite abit


atm a melee hits a wellgeared caster for maybe 8-12% 15-20% on ferocious/lethals

but they hit far to fast

my suggestion would be to slowdown melees hits by alot

but also increase their damage so

they hit equally geared mage for around 15-25% on regular hits
and 30-35% on lethals/ferocious hits








so i say it as ive always said it

melees are to weak

but hit to way to fast

my mage and melees all get 2-4 hit by 90% of melees and my paladin has 1.9k ac 4.5k hp. dws 2 hit him.
its op you just dont want it fixed because you play guns for hire that is abusing claws+ dagger

and loki just wants claws/daggers nerfed because he uses a shield. so how stupid that sounds loki. its not rocket science that you are not getting 2 hit, its just to fast for you to use your fingers to count so you only get to 2 before you die. and I think the part of the issue is most of these people are dumping all the stats into agil also.

I don't use claws in my warrior. And my claw spec paladin isn't walking around winning every fight.

This post seems more of a "omg he killed me" and you demand a nerf cause you got pked.

reason for that is that strength is a worthless stat... due to diminishing returns

its impossible to reach high enough strength to make it worth putting any points into strength



strength became worth it after reaching around 81-91 strength


which is impossible to reach now with diminishing returns


constitution another worthless stat doesnt give nearly enough hp to warrent putting into it

so that leaves agility which doesnt get affected by diminishing return

since u continue to get hit-def bonus aswell as speed allway to 111agil

false str is stil good to use. I went 100 str on thor and was 2spinning the game (pve wise) to farming from lvl 65-70 and at 70s+ was 2 spinning dks/hks etc.

Just because its diminishing doesnt mean its worthless. Why are you always so negative?

70 is when it starts diminishing so just stop at 70 str anyway.

The issue is you can stack TONS more attack speed than you can damage but claws+dagger allow stacking of ALL melee stats so people have 80% attack speed+ which wasnt possible before.

Check out pvp stats page. 95% melees on there with like 5/1 k/d ratios.
