 Your favourite Xenimus feature?

There's a couple of things that have always turned me off other MMORPG's and that I miss. The main one absolutely is marking/ports and specifically insta port.

The fact that you can mark practically every area, and port between those in a matter of seconds is an amazing travel ability and changes the whole game. Imagine Xenimus if it had no marking/portal feature at all, it'd be crazy different. Perhaps even for the good of the game, that's for another debate. But there's no doubt that it helps to the whole "godly" character feeling. Being able to trans and port everywhere so quickly.

I recently found another game that has a marking and porting feature (I can really only find two others than Xen that have it but completely differently implemented, much much slower). It takes 10 seconds to create the portal. TEN SECONDS. That's a whole age in Xenimus time. Casting time doesn't really exist in the same form at all.

Travelling is up there, this is why I think most new players don't even really "get" Xenimus and quit before the fun spells and mechanics. You have to make it to level 8 at least to experience fast cloud movement, it already switches up everything, it was a staple in the olden days, get to level 8 and things change from "meh" to "hell yeah I'm free!". Next one is level 11, "get the portal get the portal". Slightly different for melees, but thats why getting their read skill up is so important.

So travelling for me, specifically insta port. What about you?

Open world with 100% pvp

no reachable levelcap

the pvp


sadly 2 out of 3 are gone are entirely gone

with the third one being almost none existant now

No reachable levelcap was pretty cool too, it was always such a mystery of what's next and people always pushing the limits of it.

And before others come here to debate why someones missing features are not legit missing features and you disagree, please keep your trolling out of it. Just trying to spark a positive discussion of cool Xenimus things.

The EASY choice between pvp and pve.

Just toggle -all and you can pk on MOST of the map. A few minutes and you're back in non pvp mode as long as you're in the small parts of the map that's anti pk.

I enjoy the fast pace PvP. Xenimus is a reaction game. Which is pretty awesome

I'd say the GvE days were the best.

Loki's argument is terrible - almost 100% of the game is played in anti pk areas, so you can lay down as many tiles of full pvp squares as you like, it doesn't matter.
