Server side update today 5-29-2017

Non drop items now have a max equip limit of three. Choose what to equip wisely.

Mages have been able tank too much but their HP levels seemed fine. I noticed they were getting a huge bonus to extrudere. At the time I was thinking they needed it but that was probably too much. It was removed.

Town guards are stronger and the hated system is back in place.

I have other changes planned but didn't have time to program them for this update.

Quick test on Shaka vs Sephiroth.

3 hits to Seph with a Sword of Skull vs his 600Ac did 800 damage. This is with 81 str

Will add more testing later and update here.

If ej looks a thing this thread. Can we adjust armor scales now with some requirements involved.

From least AC to most

Robes>leather>chain mail> plate.

But add magic protection to lighter armors to heavier.

Least to most

Plate>chain>leather>robe

also melees seem to have gotten an "extrudere" buff. My ranger takes more damage now in his blue egg when he used to have pink egg.


edit: just read ejs email he said it should just be a graphics change

did some testing and it looks like there might be a tiny buff to melees survivability but not enough to make DD viable even with 1950 ac

mages still seem very tank as the change has only effected wizards and warlocks? For once I 100% agree with xen101 on the armor

because wizards and warlocks were the only ones to recieve the +10 to extrudere buff. So I am assuming that was all that was removed or nerfed down.

If ej reads this can you confirm if that nerf was to ALL extruderes, or only to the +10 buff to lock/wizards? Maybe it is down to +5 or whatever.

I think removing all +10 would make them super squishy as they were before. I am assuming he removed some but not all +10.

And not all mages.
Wizards and warlocks only got that buff.

Clerics and Druids aren't mages. St least I don't see them as that.

Well mages should take no damage. They should deal tons of it tho. That's the trade off.

Would be nice if the ndnt equip limit only applied to levels 60+. The ndnt items are helpful for the grind at lower levels.
