same thing with the blues making new accounts or coming from retirement to also vote no.

I wish forum accounts were tied to character/account but still hard to police as many people have 2 or 20 accounts. lol

Yea I really think this should be a ingame vote - 70 + character required to vote. 1 vote per 70 character account

if you left under like item level 35 or whatever the ankh level requirement is so we at least had that to start off with our mummy rings n noob stuff and left tomes alone considering how much alot of us paid for them that is what will do it for me but the problem is the high level gear so imo that would be the way wipe item level xx n up leave tomes and i wouldnt quit that would be the only way for me.

Seems there's a few people who want that, but being a majority vote in a situation like this does not matter much with such a small playerbase. Having like six people discuss the fate of the other six is silly.

Realistically, the game has always had issues with exploiting and duping especially immediately following any wipes. If the reason people are citing for wanting a wipe is because of perceived unfairness then a new wipe would just start the same cycle again. Some people might prefer that others will not.

Ultimately it's a game designer's choice of which players you want to appeal to and how to handle the integrity of his game's world.

you are underestimating the amount of people that would come back after hearing about a wipe.

if you are not wanting a wipe you are already 70, tombed and bored because you have no more content. More than likely logging in less and less.

What does a wipe mean? We do it all over again boys. EJ sprinkles in a few updates..and we peck away like chickens.

IMO, create a seasonal server that lets you test large changes to the game and then vote to bring the changes to the main server.

An example would be let's change the loot system so there's no NDNT cap, items above level X become NDNT when equipped, and NDNT is now account bound.

This is just an example idea, realistically bags are cheap and plentiful making gear non drop anyway, and it still leaves the majority of your inventory at risk (runes, pots). It would encourage people to have multiple characters on one account instead of spreading them around so they can login to multiple at once, and would give you things to do after you main is geared (your main can contribute towards helping gear alts).

Bring up the seasonal server, allow character copies but gear above item level X isn't copied over, see how it plays out.

If the vote passes, the new system comes into place and items above item level X are wiped.
