Would a Cleric being able to wield a staff and shield be OP?

I think it would be awkward.
There really should be better holy/spirit end game gear/weapons. (Spirit bonus Vexar staff with 25 armour spell bonus would be nice )

I don't think it would be awkward, but would add some better defensive layers with the shield and some nice offense(HpS/HcS). Totally agree on better weps tho.

Almost every endgame armor/staff has shadow damage, some have energy, but there's very little for spirit. No spirit vexar staff, no spirit oblivion staff, etc. Clerics/Druids definitely could use some love in this department imo.

Clerics and druids are supposed to only be able to get 70% spirit bonus =(

Add 5 new 90+ Wands but give them similar stats to having an equal level staff would be and then them use those wands + shields.
Holy Spirit Wand
Holy Power Wand
Holy Adept Wand
Dark Spirit Wand
Dark Adept Wand
Give them Cleric/Druid/Diabolist Only equip requirement.

I just want to see some love for clerics/diab. Allowing them to use staffs with the cleric/diab shields would be a good compromise on vastare being a charged up spell and allowing a little bit more tankiness. I dont think its asking much, it would be a slight buff
