its already at that point

just look at VDG,VWG,drac helms, holy drac helms, essentially nothing highend holds value

except for few items like vovs, adept rings, super vex robes, vexar hats,

good proped highend weapons

Ill say this again. Bosses need to spawn every hour, but your character only has a chance at loot one time per day from each boss. This allows everyone to have a chance if they can log on.

I agree 100% someone who spends more time on the game will have more. its just the truth! the problem is gear that drops is not progressive. instead of gear dropping from monsters that are item levels = to monster and -5 levels (a level 90 DK drops items ilvl 85-90) they should drop progressively to always improve your character. So their range should also include +5-10 levels and be ranged from 85-95/100. This way you can farm for better gear in all areas and improve your character as you get to harder content. This would also help noobs leveling. for instance, a level 45 character hunts lvl 45-50 monsters, which means that monster drops ilvl 40-50 gear and is wearable at 30-40.... you should be able to kill monsters that you are improving your gear, and benefiting you at the time (dropping lvl 45 wearable gear) not worsening it.

Yes people who spend more time, 16hours a day every day for decades, will and should have more.

However.

Their playing should NOT hinder everyone elses playing because they never log off and raid bosses are always dead.

Correct Loki, So make bosses spawn every hour but only allow a person to be eligible for the boss drop one time per day. This way everyone has a chance if they go to a boss. Doesnt have to give an item just klike it doesnt right now, but this will allow everyone to have a chance for items. The others that play "16 hours a day" will still be farming tradeable gear anyways. The goal is to allow others to do raids and have a chance.

I think the biggest thing people aren't taking into consideration is the general population. If you lock it to "once per day" that still isn't going to help the "general" players get into that type of content. All those that have already cleared, wont want to help because why would they? They won't get anything?

Also, this could easily turn into drop manipulation, leaving/logging off before boss is killed (will that count?) People with 10 alts could easily farm out bosses and get even more loot than is already rewarded.

Something other than what we have right now would definitely be nice, just depends on what he thinks may be the best course.

correct some people wouldnt want to help, but a guild should help their guild out and it would make it so the majority of a guild could run at a certain time and then there could be better chance to setup world raids. If it was individual drop chance at a boss once per day it wouldnt matter how many people go you just get a random item or you dont.

why woudnt they? id be more then happy to clear/tank top dd for some pots for example


loot should obviously be individual if ej impliments this(so it doesnt matter how many or how few people are brought to the raid)
