 Warrors on xen2 are trash

I just started right. and leveled pretty much all characters 20. i finding leveling warrior or try auto-attack simular or enjoying your character getting killed a lot or popping lsas and hitting like wet nooble spin attack . something wrong here. something terribly wrong here. why cant get any good gear from quest they give doesn't seem to help . play any other class other then ranger and have no issue handling things my level. thats not case with warrior nope.

so what i understand is have be bout 55-60 to actually get your foot in door to enjoy playing a warrior. so basically what getting is 35 more levels constantly death. forever slow grinding for money vbs,red,heal prot scrolls trans-wand

all can say ej small buff here or there wouldn't hurt. sometimes when hit things as my warrior i imagine hitting dog squeaky toy at least that have more effect then i actually do damage

warrios on x1 are 1 of the best classes around. just spam all agil no cons no str and do max dps + the warrior stomp is op.


idk about 2.0 but for 1.0 they are epic.

In all honesty, EJ won't truly understand what makes leveling a level 16 warrior or paladin extraordinarily different than a level 16 mage (cleric/druid/warlock/wizard) unless he actually plays through it.

The OP is absolutely right -- the "leveling experience" for a melee is exponentially worse than ANY mage class through the early levels.

Now, again, OP is also right that this somehow corrects itself after about level 40 and each archetype starts hunting a specific area of the game (Lava Imps) and again around level 55 or so (Death Knights). Melee's somehow start becoming relevant again and start leveling on the same pace or scale as mages.

Why does this happen? We aren't entirely sure. How can it be fixed? We really don't know unless we get EJ in a Discord session talking about some source code in some template files.

TLDR: Melees are exponentially more difficult to level on 2.0 than mages (ANY MAGE CLASS). This is very well known. It may be due to significance of strength versus magic stats (wisdom OR intel) at a lower level? We just aren't sure.

Archers? Yeah, incredibly difficult to balance in PVE AND PVP so backburner. I do think a "PVE only" survivability passive might help them, as long as it doesn't break them in PVP. To be fair, I don't know a lot about this situation but I do know this class is struggling here, mightily.
